AE-FUNAI: VC COMMISSIONS SECURITY BUILDING, RESETTLEMENT QUARTER, STAFF QUARTERS AND FUNAI PAINT FACTORY.

In other to increase efficiency and quick security response, the AE-FUNAI Vice chancellor, Prof Chinedum Nwajiuba  has on Monday, 22nd July commissioned the Security Office Building that is located before the University's Front Gate.

In a similar way, the Vice chancellor commissioned a staff quarter and a resettlement quarters that was built for an indigene of Ikwo who was told by the University management to vacate his ancestral house that is situated inside the University environment.

The old man willingly approached the Vice Chancellor on hearing that they were told to leave the university environment, he expressed his willingness to leave but however complained of not having money to build a new house. The old man expressing his happiness to see a university in his village, was very much ready to leave the school environment but lacked fund to start a new house in his land outside the University.

The Vice Chancellor, seeing the man's willingness to obey the management's directive decided to build two bungalows for the man and his family and at the same time offered  automatic employment to one of his children and as well promised to offer employment to one other  son of the man.

Among the projects commissioned by the vice chancellor yesterday  was the AE-FUNAI Paint factory. The paint factory is located behind the university main auditorium.
