Xenophobic Attack: You May Signal Your People To End These Killings Because It's Ultimately Dividing Us, Jerry Udom Prays To Mandela.

What have you done as part of your contribution to the end of Xenophobia?
Christian Onyedikachi said we should pray while we seek for solutions, this is what Jeremiah Udom has to say.

Dear Nelson Mandela?

I can still remember you speaking passionately on the subject of ensuring the Unity of African Race.

Sir, shortly after you were released from the prison on 11th February, 1990 after spending 27 rugged years, 6months and 6 days in that small dark room. You did not only admonished your brethren (the South Africans), but indeed the entire African community on the singular reason of supporting, helping and fighting against oppression and oppressors and of course, standing by to ensure that other African countries are liberated.

Sir Mandela, permit me to report to you that since you have long gone asleep, so many things have gone astray. Just in the words of our dear compatriot Chinua Achebe, the center can no longer holds because things have fallen apart.

As am reporting this unfortunate situation to you, in your own home sir, your brothers kill, maim and molest the very bloodline that stood by them. In your backyard, your people have sentenced their African brothers and sisters to death unjustly. So many blood have been shade in your country.

Sir, needless to remind these fellows that it was Nigeria and Nigerians that accommodated you and your friends in her belly when you ran away from home. Sir, maybe, just maybe they have forgotten that you seek for help and support from the very same people they are brutalizing today.

But am aware that, If you were to be alive today, you would have condemned this madness. I'm sure you would have made a public statement reminding them on the need to realized that we are one. Your incumbent President would have been reminded by you that Nigerians helped in the fight (which he himself was part of) for the independence of South Africa. If you were alive, the Chinese would have not controlled about 70% of your country's economic. Sir, you would have fought this greatest inferiority complex currently seen in your home land.

But sir, while you are still asleep, let me tell you that the land you once fought for has become the theatre of blood bath. You maybe silent on this as you are currently, but our heart morns for our brothers and sisters that have be gruesomely murdered in cold blood in your country. While still being quiet sir, you may wish to signal your people to end these killings because it's ultimately dividing us.

 Jerry Udom.

  1. Well, I personally think that a xenophobic attack no matter where it is happening in any part of the world, is just downright wrong. People should live in harmony and love, and in togetherness as one family. The South African Government as well as the Nigerian Government should issue a press release concerning these xenophobic attacks. Other world powers like the USA, Britain, Germany, France, et al should also look into these attacks and try to make some sort of peace pact or something. Please, please, the world's economy is not favorable at all and I think the last thing we need is attack on our selves. God bless Nigeria.
