The increasing insecurity in the southwest region has prompted the immediate relocation of the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammad Adamu.
He will also be attending a security meeting scheduled to hold at the International Conference Centre (ICC), University of Ibadan, Ibadan.
As he tours the six states in the region, he will unveil a new security architecture for the region.
From the Nations Report, he also orederd that police helicopters be deployed in the region and the northeast to mount surveillance over the forests where killings, kidnapping for ransom and armed banditry have put fears in the mind of residents.
