Emmanuel: My Crime, How It All Started

Though efforts to reach him has proved abortive, our correspondent in the area reports that the teenager, Emmanuel, who was arrested by the men of the Police Force, Area F command has made some confessions.

According to our source, Emmanuel has told how he started his activities.

"I started blogging about 2 years ago, watching and reading articles in YouTube and other blogs. I was so much interested in Techs.

"It was early last year that I started investing in crypto currency (especially Bitcoin) and Forex Trading. Few months later, I was dupped the sum of Fifty Three Thousand Naira (N53,000).

"When I felt that I have mastered the rudiments of Crypto Currency and Forex Trading, I opened a Telegram Coin group. I invited people to trade on my coin, while I was using their money to invest in my own Forex Trade.

"We agreed on a 50:50 deal, loose or gain. I invested some people's money while some I scammed them, yet those ones I invested, we shared the gains 50:50.

"After too many activity on one group, I shut it down or leave the group and open another one with a new contact. This is what I have been doing since last year.

"Whenever my father ask me how I make my money, I tell him that , I am into one Tech. Investment.

"I continued like that until the middle of last month when I scammed one of my investors the sum of One million naira (N1,000,000)", he said, promising not to involve in crime anymore.

Meanwhile, Stereo News reports that a teenager has been arrested for Cyber Crime.
