This was contained in a memo as released by the Director of Information- Elect, Comr. Uwakwem Emmanuel.
The memo reads thus;
"A NEW DAWN"
"This is to inform the general public that the newly elected persons into the Executive and Legislative seats in the Student Union Government of Alex Ekwueme Federal University will on Wednesday being 17th July 2019 be inaugurated and officially sworn in to pilot the affairs of the Union for the 2019/2020 Academic Session.
"The inauguration will take place at the University's Senate Chambers by 10 am on Wednesday.
"The entire Students are by this notice invited to an Inaugural party to mark the beginning of a new dawn in our Union. The Inaugural party will be at the University Mini Auditorium, temporary site by 6Pm".
