Few hours to the AE-FUNAI SUG election, a student identified with the name Skywalker gave a piece of his mind. He invites us to shun criticisms and focus on leaders with achievable ideology.
He writes:
"Any fool can criticize, complain, and condemn and most fools do. But it takes character and self-control to be understanding and forgiving.
"Time and time again does the pride of man influence his very own fall. While denying it, one gradually starts to believe that he is the authority, or that he possesses great moral dominion over others, yet it is spiritually unwarranted.
"By that point he loses steam; in result, he falsely begins trying to prove that unwarranted dominion by seizing the role of a condemner".
With his words, he invites us to chose between SUG and SUG as we come out to exercise our franchise.
"They have to be liberated by voting between School Union Government (SUG) and Students Union Government (SUG)".
He also encouraged us to be articulated with his words;
"I am fond of reminding my students of the saying it takes one to know one when they become lost in condemnation and judgment of others.
"The world that we perceive is a reflection of our own states of mind and reveals our own level of consciousness. The world is little more than a Rorschach blot in which we see our own desire systems projected. We see what we want to see".
